The Knightsbridge Estate

A lot of real estate claims to be world class. The Knightsbridge Estate really is.

It sits between Harrods and Harvey Nichols, The Mandarin Oriental is opposite and Hyde Park is a very short walk away. It is a fantastic retail, work and living space in one of the world’s most reputable neighbourhoods.

It’s not as well known as it should be though. Its more famous neighbours overshadow it, and the estate’s on-street presence isn’t strong enough. Regent Street and Covent Garden have become real competition, featuring flagship retail spaces for international brands like Apple and Burberry.

The Estate needed an identity and a story to tell – to tenants, investors, neighbours, passers-by and international visitors; current and potential. Our solution was to add nothing. We just documented the area, using timeless black and white photography – creating a sense of a very stylish, very ‘real’ estate. The simple, visual language works brilliantly across media and borders and effortlessly conveys a sense of place – it’s like a movie you want to be in.
